Earth Tower
A square hollow tower is built with unfired bricks and clay slip. During a performance the inside of this tower is blown into flame. The inner parts of the bricks are hardened at a low temperature to resist heat and wetness for an indeterminant time. During its life time the power of the elements will give the work a complete new view in an unexpected way; it tells a new story and may revive the character of Korea’s metaphor ‘Beacon Mound’.
