Nakdong River estuary and the Sea of the South Sea converge in Dadaepo, where many personal and collective events would have taken place with countless people interacting with each other for a long time in history. The water flowing through this place would have flowed from the foothills of a mountain somewhere and passed through rivers. In such currents, the water would have observed peoples’ lives, or passed through mysterious spaces of nature untouched by human. The countless stories, mysteries and things hidden in the waters that flow into the sea might encroach upon us on the seashore, in a form of a massive monster. The massive form, made of rotten tree branches, and covered with ocean filth, seems to squirm in the desires for something, or to speak to us. Perhaps what this monster wants is something that we know all too well.
